Have you thought about what your Baylor legacy will be?

The Boone Powell Sr. Society (BPSS) is Baylor Health Care System Foundation's legacy program for honoring and thanking grateful patients, families and friends of Baylor Scott & White who have arranged a bequest or planned gift to our health care system.  Anyone who notifies the Foundation that Baylor Scott & White is named as the beneficiary of a gift through his or her estate, or through a planned gift during his or her lifetime, is automatically enrolled as a member of the Boone Powell Sr. Society. 

TYPES OF GIFTS INCLUDE:

  • Gifts through a provision in a last will and testament
  • Gift through a "revocable" living trust
  • IRA, 401(k) or similar retirement plan beneficiary designation
  • Life insurance policy beneficiary designation
  • Charitable gift annuity
  • Charitable remainder trusts
  • Charitable lead trusts
  • Remainder interest in a residence, farm or ranch while reserving a life estate for yourself

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

  • Invitation to an annual luncheon honoring sBoone Powell Sr. Society members
  • Parking card for lifetime complimentary valet and garage parking at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas
  • Invitations to other educational events

ABOUT BOONE POWELL, SR.

Boone Powell, Sr. was chief executive officer of Baylor Dallas for 30 years. It was his vision to establish the Foundation in 1978 and he served as its first president. Many of the current buildings at Baylor Dallas were built because of Mr. Powell's passion for Baylor and the philanthropists that supported Baylor's vision
